Inside a Santorini-Inspired Shoot Location in Tarzana, Los Angeles
Tucked into the hills of Tarzana in the San Fernando Valley, Caster House is a Santorini-inspired photography and film location unlike anything else in Los Angeles.
The space is defined by its hand-plastered white arches, sparkling blue pool, arched windows, and Mediterranean courtyard — a Aegean aesthetic that transports talent, brands, and crews somewhere else entirely. Natural light floods the property from morning through late afternoon, with the courtyard performing best in the early hours and the pool area peaking from mid-morning into the afternoon.
Caster House has hosted commercial campaigns, editorial shoots, and film productions for some of the most recognized names in media and fashion — including Netflix, Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Richie, Anthropologie, Free People, Summer Fridays, Kopari, Réalisation Par, Hailee Steinfeld, and Interview Magazine.
The location sits on a private hillside estate with valley views, 25-car on-site parking, two green rooms, and a full indoor/outdoor flow designed for professional productions of any size. It is owned and operated by commercial photographer Ali Mitton and producer Bryan Whalen of Mama Bear LA.
Caster House is available for hourly and full-day bookings for photographers, content creators, commercial productions, and film crews. Rates start at $295/hour. Scouts and site visits are available by appointment.
